Do you have public internet access?

We have public internet computers available for use. We also have wireless access if you bring your own device in with you. The wireless also picks up outside of the library.

How do I access ebooks?

Library patrons with a valid library card from the Foothills Consortium (formerly known as the CMC Consortium) are eligible to use the North Carolina Digital Library. Can I burn inside Town limits?

No open burning inside the Town limits is allowed.  You are allowed to have a recreational fire inside a fire pit.  If you are burning outside of the Town limits a burning permit from the NC Forest Service is required. You can request a new trash or recycling can by calling Public Works! By giving us your address, we’ll bring it out to you. Please note that extra trash cans cost $65, plus an additional monthly fee.
