Rutherfordton Fire & Rescue Department partners with The Blood Connection to host a community blood drive
The Rutherfordton Fire & Rescue Department will host a community blood drive with the Blood Connection on Wednesday, February 17th from 10 am to 3 pm at the Rutherfordton Fire & Rescue Station located at 144 N. Mitchell Street, Rutherfordton.

“Hosting a blood drive coincides with Rutherfordton Fire & Rescues’s core values of giving back to the community,” said Asst. Fire Chief Robbie Samuel “With a simple blood donation, we have the ability to help save the life of someone who could be a coworker, loved one, or neighbor.”
“The short amount of time it takes to donate can mean a lifetime to a patient with a serious medical condition. We urge eligible donors to join us in the selfless act of giving blood.”
