Cindy Bowlin

Cindy Bowlin was promoted to the position of Library Director at the Norris Public Library in August 2025. Prior to being promoted to director Cindy held the position of Library Technician. She is a native to Rutherford County and a 1990 graduate of RS Central High School. Her love for working in the library began as a student library worker while in elementary school.

Cindy earned her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Isothermal Community College in 1992. In 2012, she earned her Associates degree in Library and Information Technology from Central Carolina Community College. Before coming to work at the Norris Library, Cindy worked at the Spindale Public Library for four years. She served as a volunteer at the Spindale Library for three years prior to her employment there.
