The Town of Rutherfordton ended leaf collection for the 2007-2008 fall and winter seasons on March 28.  After this date, all leaves must be bagged for collection.  For additional information, call 287-5961.

Town Council meets the first Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in Town Hall.  The Public is welcome.

Labor Day Schedule Changes: Due to the Labor Day Holiday, Town Hall, the Library, RTR / Community Development, Zoning, Police Administration, and Public Works will be closed on Monday, September 1. The next scheduled Council meeting will be on Tuesday, September 2, at 7:00 p.m.

Schedule Changes - Trash & Recycle Pick-Up Week of August 31 – September 6 Trash Collection: Normal Monday pickup will be on Tuesday, September 2 Normal Tuesday pickup will be on Wednesday, September 3 Recycling pickups will remain on a regular schedule
