THE NORRIS LIBRARY FOUNDATION

Friends of the Norris Library have created the Norris Library Foundation as a 501(c)3 organization. The Foundation conducts various fundraisers to purchase books and make other improvements to the Library. Book sales, usually held early in May and October, are popular events, and donations of books for sale are always welcome.

In 2003, the Foundation established the 21st Century Fund to finance future capital improvements. Members of the Norris family toured the library building and attended a reception in their honor in 2006.  

The Foundation welcomes volunteers to help with the book sales and other events such as the annual May StoryFest on the Courthouse lawn. Contact the Foundation through the Library staff at 287-4981.
